<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/178592064858600 Official Poster Stay a Little Longer.png" style="width:633px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="633"/>Poster for &#x27;Stay A Little Longer.&#x27; Handout</div>A play depicting a woman with a faulty memory and the effect it has on her loved ones is set to be staged in Cebu City later this month.The production titled &quot;Stay a Little Longer&quot; will be staged at The Kabilin Center in Cebu City on August 29 and 30, producer 2TinCans Philippines, Inc. said in a press statement.The full-length drama, written by Sarah Mae Enclona-Henderson and directed by Shifrah Bouchikhi-Enclona, follows a woman whose memories drift through the different stages of her life.As time and identities begin to overlap, the people who love her must decide whether to hold on to the reality they know or embrace the reality of the person they love.The cast includes Enclona-Henderson, Charlene Virlouvet, Shiella Pestaño-Gemperoa, Rio Delizo and Jonathan Tadioan, with stage management by Benjun Yu and production design by Louie Carlo Basalo.Enclona-Henderson said the story was rooted in the realization that memory loss affects not only the person experiencing it, but the people who love them.&quot;Dementia disrupts not only the individual, but everyone who loves them,&quot; Enclona-Henderson writes. &quot;It asks us to reconsider what truth means, and whether being right is more important than being present.&quot;&quot;Stay A Little Longer&quot; is part of &quot;KULUKABILDO II: Stories in Direct Light,&quot; a program that spotlights original stories through emerging Cebuano directors. Tickets are available at 2tincans-philippines.yapsody.com.
