Meghan Markle Reaches Out to Billie Eilish to Help a 15-Year-Old Who Was Among Those Who Lost Homes in California Wildfires

<p><strong></strong>The series of wildfires that broke out in several parts of California in January left at least 29 people dead and more than 16,000 homes and structures destroyed. The wildfires may now be 100% contained but thousands of people are still displaced, seeking to rebuild their homes and lives. As the fire victims were allowed to return to their homes, <strong>Prince Harry</strong> and <strong>Meghan Markle </strong>came across a heartbreaking story from a family who lost their home in Altadena. </p><p>&quot;About two or three weeks ago, when my husband and I were in Altadena, we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes,&quot; Markle began narrating in an Instagram post, providing context for the much-awaited package she had just received.</p><p>She continued, &quot;This mom had found a couple things, and as I was talking to her, I turned and looked and I saw this young woman, and I said, &#x27;Oh my gosh, how old are you?&#x27; She&#x27;s 15. She lived there. This album was recorded in the home recording studio of Eilish&#x27;s brother, Finneas, in Los Angeles.</p><p>&quot;Guys, I don&#x27;t even know what all this stuff means, but it&#x27;s signed for her,&quot; Markle said. &quot;Is that a thing? A lunchbox thing? I don&#x27;t know. This is when I feel really old. Huge thank you, Billie Eilish.
