<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/news-special1/nation/06/21/ricardo-marquez-062116.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">PNP Director General Ricardo Marquez is retiring early on June 28.</div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA - The position of the Philippine National Police (PNP) chief will be vacant soon. </p><p>Outgoing PNP Director General Ricardo Marquez has opted for early retirement on June 28, exactly two months before his scheduled retirement on August 28.</p><p>PNP Directorial Staff chief Deputy Director General Francisco Uyami, the current number 4 man in the PNP, may serve as officer-in-charge before the next PNP head Chief Superintendent Ronald dela Rosa assumes his post.
