Jonathan Cellona, ABS-CBN News</div></figcaption></figure></div>MANILA – Family and friends of former senator Ernesto Maceda brought his remains to his final resting place at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City on Saturday.The 81-yea-old Maceda was given a 21-gun salute and a shower of flower petals from a chopper before his remains was buried around 12 noon Saturday.&quot;Itong mga nakaraang araw, katakot-takot ang nagpahayag ng kanilang paghanga, pasasalamat, namahagi ng kanilang personal stories kung paano sila natulungan ni Manong Ernie, kung paano sila na inspire ng buhay ng aking ama. Gringo Honasan, sister-in-law Gina de Venecia and former ambassador to the Vatican Henrietta de Villa, were among those presentMaceda, who served three Senate terms <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/nation/06/20/16/mr-expos-ernesto-maceda-dies-at-81]">died</a> last June 20, 2016 following a gall bladder operation.
