<figure class="op-social"><iframe allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="350" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/C1Xw5zm1_P8" width="510"></iframe></figure>MANILA - Following the turn-over of a nine-level building donated by SM Investments Corporation, the University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City (UP BGC) campus will open its doors soon for students.The Henry Sy Sr. Hall has a total floor area of 12,000 square meters, and will house 29 classrooms, three computer laboratories, libraries, faculty lounges, and an auditorium. It will also house a moot court, a multipurpose hall, several discussion rooms, conference rooms and office spaces.The campus will host graduate classes of various colleges, including the College of Engineering, Virata School of Business, College of Architecture, School of Labor and Industrial Relations, School of Urban and Regional Planning, School of Statistics and the UP Open University. It will also hold classes of the College of Law.&quot;The UP BGC will bring UP’s brand of quality education to those working and living in the southern Metro Manila areas, including those living in the nearby cities and provinces, desiring to partake in the knowledge generated by the country’s leading educators, scientists, artists, and public intellectuals,&quot; UP President Alfredo Pascual said.UP BGC is the latest addition to the constituent units of the country&#x27;s national university.SM, the building&#x27;s donor, is a long-time partner of UP in the nationwide college scholarship program under SM Foundation.The establishment of the newest unit is a manifestation of UP&#x27;s commitment to fulfilling its mandate to serve and lead as a graduate university, a research university and a public service university under the UP Charter of 2008.
