MANILA - Former Pasay City Mayor Wenceslao &quot;Peewee&quot; Trinidad passed away on Friday. He was 82.Trinidad had been confined at the Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Muntinlupa since February 27.He succumbed to pneumonia on Friday afternoon.Trinidad&#x27;s wake will be held in his home in Park Avenue, Pasay until Sunday morning.The remains of the former mayor will be brought to the Cuneta Astrodome for a public viewing.Trinidad will be laid to rest at the Loyola Memorial Park in Parañaque on Tuesday.Trinidad served as Pasay mayor from 2007 to 2010.He sought re-election in 2010, but lost to incumbent Mayor Antonio Calixto.In 2015, the Sandiganbayan found Trinidad and former Pasay Rep. Antonio Roxas guilty of <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/nation/metro-manila/06/15/11/peewee-trinidad-et-al-charged-graft" target="_blank">graft</a> in connection with the construction of the Pasay City Mall and Market in 2003.They were sentenced to a minimum of six years and a maximum of 10 years in prison.Trinidad re-appealed his case last December.
