BUTUAN - Around 180 passengers of a Cebu Pacific flight were stranded in Bancasi Airport in Butuan due to a technical problem.

The Manila-bound passengers were supposed to leave the airport on board Cebu Pacific flight 5J 792 at 7:25 a.m. Sunday. They, however, were not able to leave due to an aircraft situation.

Some of the passengers, like Ramil Baluran, complained that the airline authorities did not offer them a proper explanation about the delay. He also said they were not offered any food by the airline.

Cebu Pacific station officer Evangeline Maneja, meanwhile, said they have already advised the stranded passengers that they will be accommodated in the next available flight.
