Aniya, tatak Baguio City pa rin ang hanap ng mga turista.May ilan namang mga turista na souvenir na may tatak La Trinidad ang hanap, pero wala silang makita.Dahil dito, nagbalangkas na ang lokal na pamahalaan ng Tourism Code of La Trinidad, na magsasaad ng mga alituntunin para sa mga nagtitinda ng pasalubong.&quot;May provision para sa mga pasalubong vendors na dapat i-promote nila ang La Trinidad as a tourism brand. Okay lang naman na magbenta sila ng other names pero dapat prino-promote rin nila ang La Trinidad as a tourism brand,&quot; ayon kay Valred Olsim, isang tourism officer.Nakasaad sa Article XVI ng Tourism Code na may mandatory accreditation na ang mga souvenir shop vendor sa Municipal Tourism Office.Obligado rin ang mga pasalubong vendor na magkaroon ng business permit, certification of customer service training mula sa tourism office, at magkakaroon din ng regular na inspeksyon ang tourism office sa mga vendors kung naibebenta ba ang bayan ng La Trinidad sa mga produkto.Nakasaad rin sa ordinansa na hindi na basta-basta makakapasyal sa La Trinidad.Kailangan muna na magpa-accredit ang mga travel and tour agencies at mga tourist guide sa municipal tourism office.Kung maipapasa ang panukalang ordinansa,maaring magmulta ng 5,000 at maaring makulong nang hindi bababa sa anim na buwan.Pero sa naganap na konsultasyon,napag-usapan na aamyendahan pa raw ang mga parusa sa paglabag at iba pang bahagi ng ordinansa.
