He was comatose by Thursday. </p><p>Asistio died in Antipolo Medical Center at the age of 80.</p><p>Details of his interment were not immediately available. </p><p>Asistio served as mayor of Caloocan from 1980 to 1986 and from 1988 to 1995, according to the city&#x27;s official website.
