<p>MANILA -- Singer-composer Jim Paredes said he had an &quot;enjoyable&quot; confrontation with members of the Duterte Youth on Saturday, during the commemoration rites of the 31st anniversary of the 1986 People Power Revolution.</p><p>Paredes acknowledged the group&#x27;s right to be there but noted that he also had the right to engage in debate.</p><p>&quot;It is so satisfying to shut them up when it mattered. Red, yellow, unaffiliated. I even had former pro-Duterte friends there who had changed their minds. You came to provoke with malice intended... You are provocateurs doing this for someone&#x27;s agenda. You were also there during the anti-Marcos burial rally but stayed a comfortable distance away. This time, you were right beside the monument,&quot; he said.</p>
