<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/news/02/28/20160926-senate-trillanes-nppa-1.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Senator Antonio Trillanes IV. <cite>NPPA</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA – An ethics complaint has been filed against Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, according to Senator Vicente Sotto III.</p><p>Sotto, chair of the Senate Ethics Committee, said a certain Abelardo de Jesus filed the complaint against Trillanes.</p><p>De Jesus is the same complainant in the ethics rap against Senator Leila de Lima.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/01/23/17/senate-ethics-panel-says-complaints-vs-de-lima-sufficient">Senate ethics panel says complaints vs De Lima sufficient</a></li></ul><p>The complaint stems from Trillanes statement that two Court of Appeals (CA) justices were <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/nation/04/15/15/trillanes-says-he-validated-bribery-claim">bribed</a> to stop the suspension order against then-Makati Mayor Junjun Binay around two years ago. </p><p>The other incident cited in the complaint is Trillanes&#x27; act of calling President Rodrigo Duterte a “<a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/focus/09/26/16/trillanes-calls-for-probe-on-dutertes-alleged-role-in-dds">murderer</a>.”</p><p>Trillanes said he is ready to address the complaint.</p><p>&quot;Sige lang, sige lang, gawin na nilang lahat.
