Mans Carpio</cite></div></figcaption></figure></div>CEBU (2nd UPDATE) - President Rodrigo Duterte expressed excitement and happiness after learning that his daughter, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, has given birth.After gracing the groundbreaking ceremony of the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway, the president expressed his desire to go home right away to see his newborn grandson, Stonefish, in Davao City.&quot;I&#x27;m really excited to go home... Tuloy ako sa ospital,&quot; he said during the induction of the newly elected officers and trustees of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) in Lapu-Lapu City Cebu.The President even joked about his new grandson&#x27;s nickname.&quot;Ang pangalan daw, Marko Digong. Ganyan talaga yan si Inday, ang palayaw daw Stonefish... Kaawa naman na bata,&quot; he said.City Information Officer Jef Tupas said Thursday night that the baby&#x27;s full name is Marko Digong D. Carpio. Stonefish, Sara and husband Mans Carpio&#x27;s third child, was born at 12:56 p.m. Duterte was pregnant with triplets but <a href="http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/09/08/16/sara-duterte-loses-two-of-her-babies" target="_blank">lost</a> two to miscarriage.&quot;Thank you, Lord, for the gift of life,&quot; Mayor Duterte’s husband Mans Carpio said.&quot;Mayor Inday Sara is stable and generally fine,&quot; he added.Malacañang, in a statement, said President Duterte is delighted with the birth of Stonefish.&quot;The President is delighted with the arrival of his newest apo, and he is glad that both Mayor Inday Sara and Stonefish are healthy and stable,&quot; Presidential spokesperson Ernesto Abella said.Abella added that the birth of Stonefish &quot;strengthens&quot; the President&#x27;s campaign against illegal drugs.&quot;The arrival of the Chief Executive&#x27;s newest apo Stonefish strengthens PRRD&#x27;s resolve to leave a legacy of a Philippines safe and secure from drugs and heinous crimes to future generation of Filipinos,&quot; Abella said.President Duterte&#x27;s eldest daughter announced in August that she was having a &quot;difficult&quot; pregnancy and was advised by her doctors to rest.The couple has two other children, Sharky and Stingray.
