Man's body found near Cebu forest area

The body of an unidentified man was found near a forest in Barangay Colon, Naga City in Cebu province on Wednesday night by a group of youngsters looking for their lost goats in the area.Police retrieved the body that was clad only in a gray polka dot shirt, blue maong pants, and rubber shoes. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition.Police Officer 3 Jonathan Largo said they are still investigating the cause of death. &quot;The victim is not from the area for sure since nobody from there recognized him,” Largo said.Policemen urged the public with missing relatives to visit their office for DNA testing and help them identify the body.The cadaver was brought to the St. Francis Memorial Homes in Cebu City for autopsy and follow-up investigation.
