Another UP landmark destroyed: Fire hits UP Shopping Center

<p>A fire burned most of the UP Shopping Center in Quezon City <span data-term="goog_707389035" tabindex="0">on Thursday</span> morning, another iconic landmark at the University of the Philippines Diliman campus destroyed. Officials say the fire started at <span data-term="goog_707389036" tabindex="0">7:14 a.m.</span> and declared fire out at <span data-term="goog_707389037" tabindex="0">8:53 a.m.</span><br/><br/>The fire drew mixed reactions from students reminiscing moments they spent in the shopping center, which housed, among others, restaurants (e.g. Rodic&#x27;s) and small shops offering reasonably priced printing and binding services.
