OSLOB, Cebu - Around 50 teachers and students based in Oslob, Cebu volunteered to join the ongoing rehabilitation of Sumilon Island.

Today is the last day of the clean-up, but the dive site and sandbar will remain closed until Monday next week, said Mayor Jose Tumulak.

The only resort on the island said its bookings have not been affected by the rehabilitation, but some clients are asking why they can't access the sandbar.
