MANILA - Vice President Leni Robredo maintained her "good"net satisfaction rating despite an 8-point drop in the first quarter of 2018, according to the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey released Tuesday.

Robredo posted a +34 net satisfaction rating, lower than the +42 rating she got in December last year.

The 8-point decline in her net satisfaction rating was due to decreases in Mindanao (21 points), Visayas (8 points) and Balance Luzon (4 points), combined with the 1-point increase in Metro Manila.

The net satisfaction rating of Senate President Aquilino "Koko" Pimentel III also stayed "good" at +41 in March 2018 despite suffering an 8-point decline from his December 2017 personal record-high of +49.

The 8-point drop in Pimentel's rating was due to decreases in Mindanao (24 points), Visayas (10 points) and Balance Luzon (2 points). His rating, meanwhile, increased by 2 points in Metro Manila.

Meanwhile the net satisfaction ratings of both House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez and Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno dropped to their personal record-lows.

Alvarez fell from a "moderate" +14 in December 2017 to a "neutral" +1 in March 2018.

The 13-point decline was due to decreases in Mindanao (28 points), Visayas (12 points) and Balance Luzon (10 points). He also gained a 3-point increase in Metro Manila.

Sereno's net satisfaction rating also dropped to "neutral" at -7 in March from +6 in December 2017.

The last time Sereno's satisfaction rating was in the negative was in December 2015, when she got -1.

Sereno's 13-point overall net satisfaction drop was due to decreases in Mindanao (27 points), Visayas (13 points), Balance Luzon (11 points) and Metro Manila (3 points).

The first quarter poll, conducted from March 23-27, was done using face-to-face interviews of 1,200 adults nationwide. It has a margin of error of plus/minus 3 percent.
