Sepe Jr., ABS-CBN News</em></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA (<strong>5th UPDATE</strong>)— Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio of the UniTeam tandem is leading the vice-presidential race by at least 21 million votes, based on partial and unofficial election results from Comelec data early Tuesday. </p><p>As of 5:17 a.m., Duterte-Carpio, daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte, had 30,502,186 votes, leading 9 candidates for the country&#x27;s no. 2 position.</p><p>The figures reflected 94.81 percent of the Commission on Elections&#x27; (Comelec) election returns. </p><p>The Philippines has at least 65 million voters registered for this year&#x27;s polls. </p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img alt="Tally" src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2022/news/05/09/vp444am.jpg"/></figure></div><p>Liberal Party&#x27;s Senator Kiko Pangilinan was second in the race with 8,965,420 votes, followed by Senate President Vicente &quot;Tito&quot; Sotto III of the Nationalist People&#x27;s Coalition (NPC) with 8,007,462 votes.</p><p>Sotto was followed by Aksyon Demokratiko&#x27;s Dr. Willie Ong and PROMDI&#x27;s Lito Atienza with 1,801,784 and 256,215 votes respectively. </p><p>Workers and Peasants Party&#x27;s Manny Lopez was sixth in the VP race with 149,624 votes, followed by Partido Lakas ng Masa&#x27;s Walden Bello with 95,625, and Katipunan ng Kamalayang Kayumanggi&#x27;s Carlos Serapio with 85,890 votes.</p><p>Democratic Party of the Philippines&#x27; Rizalito David was so far last with 53,137 votes, according to the latest tally. </p><p>Meanwhile, Duterte-Carpio&#x27;s running-mate Ferdinand &quot;Bongbong&quot; Marcos, Jr. was leading the presidential race with 30,502,186 million votes. </p><div><em>For live election results, see <a href="https://halalanresults.abs-cbn.com/">ABS-CBN News Halalan results</a>.</em></div><div><em>For other updates, visit ABS-CBN News&#x27; live blog <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/05/09/22/halalan-2022-abs-cbn-news-updates-on-philippine-elections">here</a>. </em></div>
