For uncontested positions, candidates need only one vote in order to be declared a winner. </p><p>Remulla, who hailed from the known local political clan was the former governor of Cavite. The three unopposed congressional candidates in Cavite are Imus Councilor Adrian Jay Advincula, General Trias Mayor Antonio Ferrer and reelectionist Seventh District Rep. Crispin Jesus 'Boying' Remulla.
