#HalalanResults: Michael Keon beats Fariñas niece to take Laoag mayoral seat

Michael Marcos Keon defeated reelectionist Chevylle Fariñas in Laoag City&#x27;s mayoral race.Keon got 28,976 votes, while Fariñas had 27,860 votes, based on official results from the Commission on Elections.Prior to winning the mayoral race, Keon served as Ilocos Norte governor from 2007 to 2010, succeeding Bongbong Marcos.In other key races in the province, former First Lady Imelda Marcos&#x27; grandson, Matthew Marcos Manotoc, ran unopposed after Cong.
