ILAGAN, Isabela - Isabela 1st district Rep. Rodito Albano was proclaimed as the province&#x27;s new governor Wednesday, lodging his 4th straight election victory in the province since 2010.Albano bagged a landslide victory with 582,032 votes, while his rival Tony Aliangan was left with about 20,000.Outgoing Isabela Gov. Bojie Dy III won as vice governor with 488,411 votes, defeating former Gov. Grace Padaca.The Albano-Dy victory marks the tandem&#x27;s nearly decade-long rule in the province since Padaca fell from the provincial seat of power after the administration of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.Padaca is facing trial for graft and malversation after she allegedly disbursed P25 million in agricultural funds to private foundation Economic Development for Western Isabela and Northern Luzon Foundation (EDWINLF) without public bidding.Other members of the Albano and Dy families would represent Isabela in the House of representatives.The 1st district would be represented by Outgoing vice governor Tonypet Albano, brother of the incoming governor.Dy&#x27;s cousins, Ian and Michael was named 3rd and 5th district representatives, respectively.Gov. Dy&#x27;s his son Inno was named 6th district representative.Board member Christopher go was elected as 2nd district representative, while Sheena Tan won as Isabela&#x27;s 4th district House member.The consolidation and canvassing of votes in Isabela was completed 2 days after the elections due to glitches and incidents in the area, usually declared as an election hot spot.Among the incidents were the alleged arson of vote counting machines and other election materials in 2 barangays in Jones town.<div>- report from Harris Julio, ABS-CBN News </div>
