BUTUAN CITY - Kinumpirma ng Department of Health Caraga ang panglimang kaso ng COVID-19 sa rehiyon kasunod ng natanggap na resulta mula sa Southern Philippines Medical Center.Ang panlimang kaso ay isang lalaki na 45 taong gulang mula sa Agusan del Norte na bumiyahe mula sa Maynila noong Pebrero 25 at dumating sa Caraga Pebrero 29. Asthmatic at hypertensive ang pasyente. Kinonsidera siyang Person Under Monitoring pagdating nito sa kanilang lugar at isinailalim sa quarantine.Asymptomatic ang pasyente.Ayon kay Dr. Jose Llacuna Jr., regional director ng DOH sa Caraga, ang ikalimang kaso ang tanging nagpositibo sa isinagawa nilang rapid diagnostic test noong Mayo 19 kaya kinuhanan ito ng swab sample para sa confirmatory test.Kasalukuyang naka-strict facility quarantine ang pasyente habang nagsasagawa na ng contact tracing ang local health authorities sa mga nakasalamuha ng pasyente.Samantala, nagnegatibo na sa pangalawang follow-up test ang ikaapat na COVID-19 case sa Caraga. Asymptomatic pa rin ang pasyente at nasa maayos na kundisyon.
