Kasama sa inspeksyon ang mga opisyal at tauhan ng National Commission for Culture and the Arts o NCCA, National Historical Commission of the Philippines, National Museum of the Philippines at National Archives of the Philippines.Sabi ni Marc Laurente, Chief of Staff ni PHLPost Postmaster General Luis Carlos, bahagi ito ng proseso sa planong restoration ng makasaysayang gusali. “We would like to know whether we have some debris that we can use for the restoration of the building. Ang una pong rekomendasyon noong agency is really to do a detailed engineering study para makita - magkaroon ng assessment at malaman kung ano pa yung pupwede pang gawin doon sa building,” sabi ni LaurenteSabi ni Laurente, bagamat kung titingnan ang nasunog na gusali na nanatiling nakatayo…hindi aniya masasabi pa sa ngayon kung matatag pa ito matapos mababad sa may 30-oras na sunog. “Hindi po kasi natin alam kung ano yung nangyari sa loob ng mga bato - may mga bakal at sa 30-oras po siyang nakababad sa apoy. What is immediate is get structural engineer to see the integrity of the building. ” sabi ni LaurenteAyon kay Laurente, hindi na nila napuntahan ang basement sa isinagawang inspeksyon kanina na sinasabing pinagmulan ng sunog pero nasuyod na aniya ng inspection team ang iba pang mga parte ng nasunog na gusali. Bagama&#x27;t hindi pa makapagbigay ng pagtaya ang PHLPost kung gaano kalaki ang kakailanganing pondo sa gagawing restoration ng gusali, sabi ni Laurente, ang sigurado ay malaking pondo ng kakailanganin dito.
