TACLOBAN CITY—The Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board has approved the new minimum wage in Eastern Visayas.

The adjusted increase varies depending on which industries they work in.

Based on the new wage order, workers in the non-agricultural sector, including sugar mills, will be entitled to a P305 daily wage.

Workers in the cottage and handicraft industry, retail and service industry, and agricultural sector, will receive a daily pay of P275, P22 higher than the previous rate.
