She was also elected president of the Philippine Judges Association.</p><p>The President selected her from a shortlist composed of 8 aspirants, including Makati City RTC judge Maryann Corpus-Mañalac, who issued the notice ordering the Prieto and Rufino families to vacate the controversial Mile Long property in Makati City. </p>
