Pero ’yong ayaw mong papuntahin, ’yon ’yong hindi natural,” she told DZMM Teleradyo’s “Pasada Sais Trenta.”</p><p>“Kung ako, ako pa ’yong mag-iimbita. ‘Sige, punta kayo dito para tingnan niyo na mali ’yong accusation n’yo.’ ”</p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="https://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2019/ap/07/20190709-drug-war-protest-ap-19190371926889.jpg"/><figcaption>Families mourn victims of alleged extra-judicial killings connected to the illegal-narcotics industry. Ie-entertain sila, kasi miyembro tayo ng United Nations at mayroong mga procedures na sinusunod,” she said.</p><p>“Pero ’yong sa akin, ’yon ’yong hindi ko naiintindihan na kapag sinasabi nating wala tayong tinatago, functioning naman ’yong ating institutions, so bakit hindi natin yayain sila na magpunta dito at ipakita natin ’yong ginagawa natin?”</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/07/11/19/un-rights-body-oks-investigation-on-ph-drug-killings-rights-situation">UN rights body OKs resolution seeking report on PH rights situation</a></li>	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/07/12/19/duterte-hits-iceland-after-unhrc-resolution-you-have-too-much-ice">Duterte hits Iceland after UNHRC Resolution: ‘You have too much ice’</a></li></ul><p>The resolution filed by Iceland, which seeks to investigate President Rodrigo Duterte’s war on drugs, was approved by the UNHRC on Thursday. </p><p>Eighteen countries voted yes, 14 said no and 15 abstained from the poll held in Geneva, Switzerland.</p><p>While Robredo agrees with President Rodrigo Duterte’s assessment on the country’s drug problem, she disagrees with the latter’s centerpiece domestic policy.</p><p>“Dapat nakuha na natin ’yong lesson sa ibang bansa, na ’yong lahat na gumamit ng dahas, hindi naman n’ya nasugpo i’yong problema sa droga,” she said.</p><p>Robredo said the government could find proactive solutions if it treats the drug problem as a health problem.</p><p>“Pero kapag tinreat kasi natin ’yong . . . halimbawa, ’yong drug addicts as criminals na hindi nga binibigyan ng day in court, tayo na ’yong nagdedesisyon na kung kailangan ba silang patayin o hindi, ’yon ’yong mali,” she said.</p>
