State weather bureau PAGASA hoisted Tuesday morning an orange warning alert in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Bataan and Batangas due to possible floods in the next two hours.

An orange warning means there will be 15-30mm of intense rain observed in 1 hour, which is expected to continue in the next 2 hours.

PAGASA said light to moderate with occasional heavy rains affecting Laguna and Quezon may persist within 3 hours. "Expect light to moderate rains over Tarlac and Nueva Ecija for the next 1-2 hours," the weather bureau said.
