<p>Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ang alkalde ng bayan ng Candaba, Pampanga noong Biyernes.</p><p>Ayon kay Mayor Rene Maglanque, nananatili siyang naka-isolate bagamat wala na siyang nararamdamang sintomas.</p><p>Sa isang Facebook post nitong weekend, sinabi ni Maglanque na sumailalim siya sa swab testing noong Huwebes matapos makaramdam ng sintomas noong Lunes ng nakaraang linggo.</p><p>Bago ito, dumalo siya sa pagpupulong sa Bren Z Guiao ng Pampanga Mayors&#x27; League at Department of Education para sa Teleskwela blended learning.</p><p>Nagsagawa na ng contact tracing ang mga awtoridad at isasailalim sa rapid testing at self-quarantine ang mga nakasalamuha ng alkalde.</p><p>“Yung Linggo, pumunta ako ng hapon sa fishpond ko at naulanan ako. Ordinaryo sakin na kapag naulanan, lalagnatin ako magbuhat pa nung bata ako. Nagtaka lang ako nung bandang Tuesday, bakit nag diarrhea ako, nag LBM ako. So dun ako nag suspect na baka tinamaan ako ng COVID,” aniya.</p><p>Pansamantalang isinara ang munisipyo para sa disinfection at rapid test ng mga empleyado.
