Arrested Ozamiz vice mayor, brother transferred to Manila

<p>MANILA - <strong>(UPDATED)</strong> Ozamiz City Vice Mayor Nova Princess Parojinog-Echavez and her brother arrived in Manila on Monday, a day after a string of raids that led to their arrest and the death of their parents.</p><p>The vice mayor and her brother, Reynaldo Jr., arrived with their police escort at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport around 9 a.m.</p><p>They were transferred to the national police headquarters at Camp Crame in Quezon City.</p><p>Police sought the siblings&#x27; transfer to save cost in the filing of charges against them, said Director Roel Obusan, head of the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG).</p><p>&quot;We applied for search warrant dito, so court of origin is Manila. So we have to commit persons and evidences dito sa Manila.
