MAYNILA - Ibinaba ng mga awtoridad sa Quezon City ang multa para sa mga mahuhuli na walang suot na face mask sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.Mula sa dating multang P1,000, P3,000 at P5,000 para sa first, second at third offense ng paglabag sa ordinansang pagsusuot ng face mask, P300, P500 at P1,000 na lamang ang ipapataw na multa sa Quezon City.Maaari ring makulong ng isang buwan ang mga lalabag.Batay sa Ordinance No. SP-2957, kailangang babaan ang multa dahil mas abot kaya ito para sa violators, kaugnay ng kasulukuyang sitwasyon ng ekonomiya.Hindi na dadalhin sa pulisya o Amoranto Stadium ang violators. Bibigyan sila ng Ordinance Violation Receipt, at kailangang makapagbayad ng multa bago mag-expire ang OVR sa loob ng limang araw.Kapag hindi nakapagbayad, kakasuhan sila sa city prosecutors office, na lalabas sa police record kapag nag-apply ng police clearance.Nitong Miyerkoles, 1,300 katao ang nahuling lumabag sa health protocols sa ikinasang operasyon ng mga awtoridad.
