MANILA - Palace spokesperson Salvador Panelo said Tuesday he is ready to face the Senate if he will be called by the legislative body regarding accusations over convicted rapist-killer Antonio Sanchez.

Sanchez, who was convicted in 1995 for the rape-slay of Eileen Sarmenta and torture-killing of Allan Gomez in 1993, was recommended to be released along with 11,000 convicts out of "good behavior" last August.
