<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/news-special1/business/9/9/lray-villafuerte-090916.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr.</div></figcaption></figure></div><p>MANILA - The Sandiganbayan has ordered the 90-day suspension of Camarines Sur Representative Luis Raymund Villafuerte Jr. after he was indicted for graft. </p><p>Villafuerte will face trial for graft over the Camarines Sur provincial government&#x27;s alleged illegal purchase of petroleum products.</p><p>Villafuerte, who was then Camarines Sur governor, allegedly granted the payment to Naga Fuel Express Zone without proper bidding.</p><p>The anti-graft court has ordered House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez to implement the suspension order against Villafuerte.</p><p>The Sandiganbayan clarified Villafuerte&#x27;s suspension is &quot;not a penalty&quot; but a compliance with the Anti-Graft Law which states that a public official accused of committing fraud against the government should be suspended pending the litigation.</p>
