<p>MAYNILA — Nasa isang bansa sa Timog Silangang Asya pa rin si dating Negros Oriental Third District Rep. Arnulfo Teves Jr., ayon sa Department of Justice. </p><p>Sabi ni DOJ Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla, ito ang impormasyong nakarating sa kaniya sa patuloy na monitoring sa kinaroroonan ng kongresista na pangunahing suspek sa pagpatay kay Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo.</p><p>Nakataggap rin ng impormasyon ang DOJ na pinoprotektahan ngayon si Teves ng ilang “warlord” sa bansang pinagtataguan nito.</p><p>&quot;Nandoon pa rin siya, Southeast Asia pa rin, supposedly under the protection of a few local warlords, iyon ang balita sa amin pero titingnan natin, kasi ASEAN iyan e,&quot; sabi ni Remulla. </p><p>&quot;Under sa ASEAN, we can actually ask them more upfront about what’s happening in their country, specially if it is somebody who is a known terrorist being harbored by anybody,” dagdag niya. </p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/08/01/23/teves-tagged-as-terrorist-for-alleged-role-in-degamo-slay">Rep. Layon nitong makuha ang tulong ng mga miyembrong bansa ng UN na maaresto ang dating kongresista.</p><p>Naniniwala naman ang kalihim na hindi magiging balakid sa pag-aresto kay Teves ang natanggap na ulat na protektado ito ng warlords.</p><p>“Hindi namin nakikitang problema iyan. Ito naman ay puwede nating i-bilateral. Sa bilateral relations ng mga bansang iyan ay madaling magkasundo. These are legitimate questions,&quot; ani Topacio. </p><p>&quot;There should be limits, even for you.
