KORONADAL CITY- A 36-year-old laborer was nabbed by the police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) of South Cotabato last Saturday.

Noel Manso, the second most-wanted person in the CIDG branch, was arrested in Barangay Lapuz, in the town of Norala at around 4:30 a.m

After he saw the incident, he grabbed a bolo and attempted to strike his cousin, police said.

He fled to the town of Norala and stayed with another brother after the incident.

In December 2012, a warrant of arrest was issued against Manso.

According to the police Senior Inspector Timothy Arciso, a confidential agent spotted the suspect and tipped the CIDG.

Manso had a P150,000 recommended bail bond.

The suspect is now under the custody of South Cotabato CIDG Provincial Office while waiting for his commitment order in the provincial jail. --with reports from Francis Canlas, ABS-CBN News
