MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte on Thursday again blasted Vice President Leni Robredo, this time before Philippine Military Academy (PMA) alumni.Duterte said Robredo, who is mandated by the Constitution to take the President’s place in case he steps down before the end of his term, is &quot;weak&quot;.“Sa totoo lang, even her public statements — I don’t mean to offend the lady, she’s very good, she’s gentle, pero mahina talaga si Leni,” Duterte said.“Mali mali ang — medyo mahina ang — hindi mahina ang utak, pumasa ng bar eh. Mahina sa diskarte.”Duterte also mentioned again his preference of having the country ruled by a military junta.<ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/08/14/18/duterte-prefers-military-junta-over-robredo">Duterte prefers military junta over Robredo</a></li></ul>The President said he will not object if ever the military seeks his ouster. He then said in jest that the military can take over his post and establish a junta.“All you have to do is to come here, the major commands. If you feel like having coffee with me then tell me then I will go down. I would say, I will announce, ‘I was deposed a moment ago by the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the police. They are now the ruling junta of the Philippines. I’m going to personally swear them to office,’” Duterte said.“The one you are trying to get rid off really wants to go out.”The President in his recent speeches had expressed his desire to step down, citing the challenges of his job as the chief executive and his failure to end corruption and the drug menace in the country.Duterte’s pronouncements about stepping down also comes amid allegations that his health is failing.The President, 73, maintained that he is healthy, even as he admitted undergoing several medical examinations to address some of his ailments.
