Oscar Albayalde has been included in the complaint filed against 13 Pampanga &quot;ninja cops,&quot; or policemen who resell illegal drugs, documents showed Monday.</p><p>The PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) on Monday filed an amended referral complaint before the Department of Justice, which has opened its reinvestigation into the case of 13 Pampanga policemen who allegedly made off with some P648 million worth of shabu.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/video/news/10/08/19/doj-gives-special-panel-30-days-to-re-investigate-ninja-cops-case">DOJ gives special panel 30 days to re-investigate &#x27;ninja cops&#x27; case</a></li></ul><p>Albayalde, a former Pampanga police chief, was charged along with 13 of his former subordinates for graft, qualified bribery, falsification of public documents, dereliction of duty, and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.</p><blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p dir="ltr" lang="tl">Dating PNP Chief PGen. Rodney Baloyo, allegedly took off with some 160 kilograms of shabu following a 2013 anti-drug operation on alleged Chinese drug lord Johnson Lee in Mexico, Pampanga.</p><p>Aside from amending its original complaint, filed in 2014, the CIDG also presented new witnesses, including barangay officials from Mexico town.</p><p>The PNP-CIDG also included in its evidence the result of the Senate investigation into the issue, which found the respondents liable for drug and graft charges.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/10/18/19/senate-panel-recommends-graft-charges-vs-albayalde-ninja-cops">Senate panel recommends drug, graft charges vs Albayalde, 13 &#x27;ninja cops&#x27;</a></li></ul><p>During the Senate inquiry, Albayalde was also accused by then PNP-CIDG chief Benjamin Magalong that he sought to defer the dismissal order against his former subordinates. </p><p>Another retired police official, Rudy Lacadin, later claimed that Albayalde called him up to inquire about the case of the so-called &quot;ninja cops&quot; and allegedly admitted that some of the drug loot went to him but &quot;only a little.&quot;</p><p>The DOJ panel said it would allow the respondents to file a counter-affidavit and set the next hearing on Nov. 5.</p><div><strong>-- Report from Johnson Manabat, ABS-CBN News</strong></div>
