In an earthquake bulletin, Phivolcs said the quake, of tectonic origin, struck at 3:23 p.m., some 36 kilometers northeast of Don Marcelino town.Intensity II was felt in General Santos City. Instrumental intensity I was also reported in Alabel, Sarangani.No damage has been reported while aftershocks are expected.
