<p>The Philippines has been hit by three typhoons within the last two weeks and a fourth one is approaching, forecast to make landfall late on Saturday (November 16).</p><p>Satellite images starting from Nov. 3 show Typhoon Marce [international name: Yinxing], Typhoon Nika [international name: Toraji] and Super Typhoon Ofel [international name: Usagi] cutting through the country with Super Typhoon Pepito route.</p><p>Pepito is also the sixth tropical cyclone to enter the typhoon-battered Philippines in a month. Earlier in October, Tropical Storm Kristine [international name: Trami] and Super Typhoon Leon [international name: Kong-rey] brought heavy flooding, triggered landslides and killed 162 people.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/regions/2024/11/16/tens-of-thousands-flee-as-super-typhoon-pepito-nears-philippines-1245">READ: PAGASA warns of Super Typhoon Pepito&#x27;s &#x27;potentially catastrophic&#x27; impact</a></div><p>Ahead of Pepito, the Philippines evacuated tens of thousands of people from their homes and canceled dozens of flights on Saturday.
