MANILA - Aside from the controversial Captain's Peak resort, the Department of the Interior and Local Government will also investigate other establishments at the foot of Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

(Well, based on the videos we've watched, it's disheartening because this is a heritage site that we're proud to show the world. We're also investigating not just this but also other places in Bohol.)

DILG recently formed a task force - which consists of lawyers and an environmentalist, that will investigate how a resort was built in the UNESCO heritage site.

Abalos said they are also trying to summon Mayor Restituto Suarez III, and request for documents from the local government unit so they can get to the bottom of the incident.

Kung wala silang kasalanan, wala akong problema pero kung meron, isasampa sa Office of the Ombudsman," he said.

(This is for us to acquire appropriate documents so we investigate the incident properly. But if there are lapses, we will file them before the Office of the Ombudsman.)
