Imee Marcos said. The lawmaker said her <a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/07/02/23/marcos-jr-greets-mother-imelda-on-94th-birthday">94-year-old</a> mother was being monitored for suspected pneumonia due to on and off coughs and fever.&quot;Given her age, we have to take max precautions... Inospital na namin for close monitoring,&quot; the senator told reporters.The former first lady is the widow of former president Ferdinand Marcos Sr. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., in a statement, allayed concerns about his mother&#x27;s well-being. &quot;I just spoke with my mother’s doctors. She is suffering from slight pneumonia and is running a fever. She has been put on a course of antibiotics and the doctors are confident that this will relieve her fever.
