Sumentro ang tema nito sa dapat pagbibigay ng autism-inclusive economic opportunities. </p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">Sabi ni Mona Magno Veluz, spokesperson ng ASP, hindi na dapat awareness kundi pagtanggap, accommodation, at appreciation ang isinusulong sa mga isyung may kaugnayan sa autism. </p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">“Ang mga taong may otismo ay hindi lang bata. Tumatanda rin sila at sa kanilang pagtanda, kailangan tulungan — kailangan ng gobyerno, kailangan ng private sector na tulungan sila magkaroon ng kabuhayan. Yun ang iha-highlight natin ngayon,” ani Veluz. </p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">“Napakaimportante ng mga programang ito kasi nabibigyang pansin ang mga sitwasyon na nararamdaman natin sa laylayan, sa komunidad ng mga pamilya, ng mga may mahal sa buhay na may otismo,” dagdag niya.</p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">Isa sa mga lumahok ay si Marie Umali at kanyang chapter sa Angeles, Pampanga. Sabi ni Umali, mahalaga ang pagsali sa mga ganitong event.</p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">“To promote awareness sa ibang tao na itong parents support group na ASP ay napakaimportante sa amin. This is the biggest event of the year for us,” sabi ni Umali. </p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">May mensahe naman si Veluz sa publiko. </p><div> </div><p style="margin-bottom:0px;margin-top:0px">“Sa mga taong walang alam sa otismo, hindi naman kailangang maging expert para maging mabuting tao.
