According to Dr. Clementine Bautista, acting senior vice president and lead head of the PhilHealth UHC Surge Team, the Konsulta package also covers some antibiotics to treat pertussis.

"Kasama naman sa Konsulta package natin iyong ilang antibiotics na pwedeng panggamot sa pertussis. Apart from that, kung ma-admit ang patient sa hospital, may coverage din ang PhilHealth doon, if I remember it right, it's from P13,000 to P16,000 iyong case rate natin for the pertussis," she told reporters at the sidelines of a PhilHealth press conference.
