Nasakote ng National Bureau of Investigation ang data security officer ng pahayagang Manila Bulletin kasama ng isa pa na sinasabing responsable sa pag-hack ng mga website ng Armed Forces of the Philippines at ilang pribadong kumpanya. Giit ng isa sa mga suspek, sumunod lang siya sa utos ng kanilang senior technology officer na si Art Samaniego na i-hack ang mga website para gawin namang content sa kanyang column at social media platforms.
