MANILA — Sen. Imee Marcos on Monday confirmed that she will just seek reelection in 2025, but added she was unsure if she would be included in the Marcos administration's senatorial slate given the number of potential candidates due to several coalitions.

"Despite many rumors that I'm running for Manila City and other places, magpapa-reeelect lang ako," Marcos said.

She said she is unsure if she will be included in the administration ticket, which she thinks may already have as many as 50 candidates.

Marcos added there has been no discussions with Vice President Sara Duterte's Hugpong ng Pagbabago.

Marcos also reiterated she stands by Duterte following her resignation as Education secretary.

She was rumored to be at odds with her brother President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
