Remulla says 'heads will roll' on Alice Guo probe

MANILA — Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla has guaranteed the filing of cases, if evidence is deemed sufficient, in the investigation on the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations  hub in Bamban, Tarlac involving suspended mayor Alice Guo. 

The DOJ is set to conduct the first preliminary investigation Friday following the human trafficking complaints filed by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.

The DOJ noted that the respondents are alleged to have been fully aware of the illegal activities persisting inside the Baofu compound.

"No one will be spared from this investigation, heads will roll once we find probable cause to do so," Remulla said.
