<p>MANILA — A House lawmaker on Sunday called on Sen. Ronald &quot;Bato&quot; dela Rosa to stop spewing conspiracy theories against his political rivals, urging the former police chief to instead face congressional hearings seeking accountability in Rodrigo Duterte&#x27;s anti-illegal drugs campaign.</p><p>Dela Rosa recently claimed that the Marcos administration, left-leaning personalities, and the &quot;yellows&quot; — a tag for members of the Liberal Party — were conspiring to destroy him and the Dutertes.</p><div><a class="fr-green fr-strong" href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/2024/8/8/dela-rosa-says-house-drug-war-probe-an-effort-to-eliminate-2028-rivals-1139" id="isPasted">READ: Dela Rosa says House drug war probe an effort to &#x27;eliminate&#x27; 2028 rivals</a></div><p>ACT Teachers party-list Rep. France Castro in a statement called Dela Rosa&#x27;s claims &quot;baseless and diversionary.&quot;</p><p><strong></strong>&quot;He should really get his facts straight and not just go out screaming conspiracy theories. Romeo Acop, Dela Rosa was the &quot;real opportunist&quot; and even called him a &quot;lapdog&quot; of Duterte.</p><p>&quot;If anyone is the real opportunist, it’s Sen. Dela Rosa, who shamelessly used his ties with the former president to rise from PNP chief to senator, leading a bloody drug war that targeted the powerless while shielding the powerful,&quot; Acop said in a release.</p><p>&quot;Don’t act like a K9 of the previous administration.
