Jekki Pascual, ABS-CBN New </span></span></span></div><p>MANILA - Once exclusive to VIPs, the arrival curbside at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 is now open to all passengers.</p><p>The New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) has opened the main arrival curbside to all private vehicles, which includes ride-hailing cars. </p><p>In a statement, NNIC said, “The change provides a more inclusive and convenient experience for arriving travelers and their loved ones, as part of a broader effort to improve traffic flow and passenger comfort.”</p><p>It is currently on ‘soft launch’ and NNIC may still change or adjust some of the processes before the full implementation in the future.</p><p>For now, Bays A1-14 is for all passengers, Bays A8-9 for persons with disabilities, Bays A11-12 for VIPs, and Bays A13-14 for hotels as well as some buses. The outer curbside, bays B1-6, are additional pick-up areas. The ride-hailing area is also located at the outer curbside.</p><p>The old arrival area, now designated as Bay C or arrival extension is still open and will be used by rent-a-car services, coupon taxis, and yellow metered taxis.</p><p>A ‘greeters area’ has also been opened where loved ones can wait for the arriving passenger. It is located near the outer curbside.</p><p>NNIC is continuously improving the various processes at all terminals of NAIA. It recently opened a ride-hailing area at NAIA 3, while it has also extended the arrival roads of NAIA 2 and 3.
