MANILA -- Pump prices are increasing for gasoline and decreasing for kerosene on October 14. Oil companies announced the following price movements effective Tuesday:<ul><li>SHELL, SEAOIL (effective 6 a.m.) Gasoline - P0.30/L increase Kerosene - P0.20/L decrease Diesel - no change</li></ul><div> </div><ul><li id="isPasted">PETROGAZZ, JETTI, PTT (effective 6 a.m.) Gasoline - P0.30/L increase Diesel - no change</li></ul><div> </div><ul><li>CLEANFUEL (effective 4:01 p.m.) Gasoline - P0.30/L increase Diesel - no change</li></ul><div> </div>The Department of Energy earlier said gasoline prices would go up due to the cost of business and other premium costs.Meanwhile, the rollback in kerosene was caused by an oversupply following Iraq’s resumption of oil exports from its Kurdish region.The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) also announced it will increase its oil production by 137,000 barrels per day in November.DOE Oil Industry Management Bureau Assistant Director Rodela Romero said the United States also increased its oil inventory amid the government shutdown.
