Megawide says to build 2 new Megaworld condos

MANILA -- Megawide on Wednesday said it is building two new condominiums for property developer Megaworld.In a statement, Megawide said it will be building the Uptown Modern and One Portwood residential towers. Uptown Modern will be Megaworld&#x27;s highest residential tower in Uptown Bonifacio.One Portwood, meanwhile, will be right across the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, right in Megaworld&#x27;s Newport World Resorts Complex.The Edgar Saavedra-led firm said the projects form part of the P20 billion new contracts the company has been negotiating, to bring its order book to P50 billion by year-end.Saavedra said the company is excited to be working again with its long-standing client. &quot;We intend to cultivate this partnership further by providing them products and services that meet their very strict quality and workmanship standards,” he said.Megawide is the operator of the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), the first landport in the Philippines.
