<div><br/></div><p>MANILA -- Toll rates are about to get more expensive at the Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX).</p><p>The operator of CAVITEX said the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the toll rate adjustments for the toll road, which will take effect on Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2025.  </p><p>The new rates are:</p><div><em>CAVITEX R1 Portion (Seaside to Zapote) – VAT-inclusive rates </em></div><p style="line-height:1">Class 1:  P39</p><p style="line-height:1">Class 2:  P78</p><p style="line-height:1">Class 3:  P117</p><div><em>CAVITEX R1 Extension Segment 4 (Zapote to Kawit):</em></div><p>The company said that to ease the impact on motorists, the rate adjustment will be implemented in two tranches (2025 and 2026). First tranche rates are as follows:</p><p style="line-height:1">Class 1:  P88</p><p style="line-height:1">Class 2:  P176</p><p style="line-height:1">Class 3:  P264</p><p>CAVITEX said it will also reactivate the “Abante Program” — a toll reprieve initiative allowing registered public utility vehicles (PUVs) and agri trucks to continue paying old toll rates for 90 days from implementation.</p><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1761547962163571358574_1259819379505927_8436600019689855914_n.jpg" style="width:950px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><div style="line-height:1"><br/></div>
