<p>MANILA (<strong>2nd UPDATE</strong>) — Megaworld, SM, Robinsons Malls,  Ayala Malls Vertis North and Ortigas Land have offered temporary shelter for those who will be affected by super typhoon Uwan as it approaches the Philippines.</p><p>The Robinsons management said they will provide free overnight parking, charging and wifi on November 8 particularly in their establishments located in Luzon which is expected to be directly hit by the typhoon.</p><p>&quot;Robinsons Malls&#x27; Public Service Advisory: We care for your safety! Our malls can provide shelter for those who are affected by the typhoon,&quot; said the Robinsons management.</p><p>&quot;Free overnight parking, charging, and wifi are available for you on November 8, along with the conveniences and comfort of our mall. Remember to please continue to keep safe and alert as you leave your homes.&quot;</p><p>In a separate statement, SM Malls said it will be opening its establishments to those who will be affected by the storm.</p><p>&quot;In preparation for Super Typhoon Uwan, our Luzon malls will open parking areas for safe vehicle shelter. Overnight parking fees at our Luzon malls will be waived on November 8 and 9, 2025.&quot;</p><p>&quot;For overnight parking, please check the list of affected malls at https://gosm.link/SMSupermallsPublicAdvisory.&quot;</p><p>Ayala Malls Vertis North, meanwhile, said it will be waiving overnight parking fees on November 8 and 9. Waiting areas and restrooms will also remain open beyond mall hours for those who may need to seek shelter.</p><p>Malls operated by Ortigas Land also waived parking fees and offered shelter for mallgoers for Sunday (November 9).</p><p>These include Tiendesitas, Estancia, and Greenhills Malls.</p><p>&quot;This measure is being implemented to offer a safe and secure parking option for vehicles to provide temporary shelter for mallgoers who may be affected by the typhoon,” said Ortigas Land in a statement.</p><p>Megaworld also released a similar advisory regarding their lifestyle malls.</p><p>&quot;Megaworld Lifestyle Malls is extending its support to their communities and motorists by opening its malls as temporary shelters,&quot; it said in a statement.</p><p>&quot;Participating malls are offering safe, dry, and comfortable spaces for those seeking refuge from the severe weather.
